  Aerospace headquarters at Victory Park, Derby Gardner Aerospace is investing nearly 10million into the project at Victory Park (Unit 9). It has purchased the freehold of the 53,000sqft unit and adjoining land on which to build an extension that will double the size of the factory.
Gardner Aerospace is the UKs largest independent manufacturer of aerospace components and makes for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the Airbus A380 and A350 . These are all powered by Derby built Rolls-Royce engines. It also manufactures parts for the Typhoon fighter jet.
The unit will contain the main logistics centre for the company. In addition, clothing reviews machining, fabrications and assembly will be worked upon at the site.

  Engineering jobs to be created by firms 2.5m big city move
A materials testing firm is investing 2.5m to relocate to headquarters in Derby aspart of an expansion plan that will create dozens of new engineering jobs.
NDT Services, currently based in Kegworth, has signed a contract to build a bespoke 30,300 sq ft centre at Victory Park, Victory Road, Sinfin.
Over the next five years, the company intends to invest an additional 2m in rc toys equipment and staff, upgrading its laboratories and recruiting an extra 40 engineers.
